McDonald’s released decorations from recycled packaging

The company jumped into the recycling game by using its own branded junk to create an exclusive jewelry collection.

The fast food restaurant chain McDonalds has launched a recycling campaign to make decorations from waste. This was made possible in collaboration with the Dutch jewelry brand De Vaal, writes Adweek.

So the chain of fast food restaurants presented a limited collection of 14-carat gold and gold jewelry made from waste. Specifically, earrings made from french fry sauce containers and a ring from a Big Mac box.

Restaurants also launched 30-second ads Trash and glamour. In the video footage, fans of fast food are walking the red carpet, surrounded by paparazzi, who decide to throw their trash in a special trash can to get a gold piece of jewelry.
