The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on August 21 awarded the artist Maria Primachenko with the National Legend of Ukraine award. The head of state wrote about it in Telegram.
“Our outstanding artist created more than 800 incredible paintings. Her name is included in the World Encyclopedia of Art. UNESCO declared 2009 the year of Maria Primachenko,” the message said.
It was noted that the painting of the outstanding artist Flowers grew around the fourth block and was sold at a charity auction for about 15 million hryvnias. The collected funds are sent to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
