Ukrainian theater and film actors believe that those who exaggerate the language issue are just hype.
Ukrainian actor Yevgeny Kaporin, who played the role of Alexei Doldonov in the TV series Matchmakers, does not want to speak Ukrainian. He said this in an interview with Channel 24.
According to the star, the Russian language is not the language of the head of the Kremlin, so he will not switch to the state language, neither in live communication, nor in social networks.
“The Russian language is not the language of Putin. It is the language of a person who was born and speaks this language from childhood. There is also Surzhik. I don’t think that the Russian army came, because Russian is spoken here. If we say that the war because there is a Russian language in Ukraine, it will be a disaster,” he said.
At the same time, Yevgeny Kaporin believes that Ukrainian defenders do not care about the language issue.
“They are talking in the language they started talking with their mother. I don’t think that for the military, which is now at the front, the language issue is important. Language is a cool subject for hype. The it’s constantly being talked about, it’s now more hyped,” – summed up the actor.
Earlier it was reported that Efrosinina commented on the language scandal, which she went to the singer Olya Polyakova.
