Home goods and accessories fashion house Dior Maison enlisted the help of French designer Sam Baron to create outdoor furniture collections inspired by the iconic Louis XVI style Medallion chair that Christian Dior used to sit on the guests at her fashion shows. Hypebeast writes about it.
The Dior Maison Outdoor collection includes a chair and an armchair, as well as two tables, one with a round top and one with a square top. Each one is made in green metal in France with exceptional craftsmanship.
For the outdoor seats, these oval shapes are filled with slatted metal, which also appears on the table top.
“These true objects of desire are emblems of perfection,” said Dior.
To commemorate the launch, the collection is on display at The Pâtisserie at 30 avenue Montaigne in Paris, as well as other Dior cafes around the world.
