Ruslan Pakhomi, who starred in the fourth season of the series Krepostnaya, went to defend Ukraine from the Russian invaders. This was stated in an interview with Suspilny.

“For a moment I thought, what if something, what about my family? I’m just from a large family, five of us and a mother. Now an orc man is coming and wants to take everything. And I thought, why am I sitting in home and went to the military commissariat,” he said.
At the same time, Ruslan Pakhomi admitted that during the service he began to write poetry, because there was a lot of inspiration.
“There is a lot of inspiration here, a lot to write about military affairs. Special inspiration when you don’t see your loved ones, you don’t see relatives. When you see that our military is developing,” the actor summed up.
