Xiaomi has officially announced the premiere date of the 17th series – new smartphones will show China on September 25, reports Gizmochina. Along with the phones, the Xiaomi Pad 8 tablet is also -ebut.
Family includes three models: Standard Xiaomi 17, Advanced 17 Pro and Top 17 Pro Max. All of these are the first devices with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Chipset, which Qualcomm will be displayed tomorrow, September 23.
Xiaomi is already setting high expectations: Base 17 is called the “most powerful flagship”, 17 Pro is positioned as “the best compact camerarance”, and 17 Pro Max is described as the “Xiaomi’s peak embodiment in the picture.”

According to preliminary gossip, Xiaomi 17 and 17 Pro will receive 6.3-inches OLED displays with ultra-fingers, while Pro Max will have a screen for 6.8 inches. All three models are equipped with OLED panels with a 2K resolution. For Pro and Pro Max versions, an additional display is also provided in the rear, supporting notifications, time display, multitasking, and self-use and cross-display synchronization functions.
Batteries also promise to be record: Xiaomi 17 – 7000 MAH, 17 Pro – 6300 MAH, 17 Pro Max – up to 7500 MAH, all with support for wireless charging.
Cameras 17 Pro and Pro Max will receive three 50-megapixel sensors: the main smartsenss 590, a super-foal-coal and periscopic telephoto lens with macrofunction. In addition, all the smartphones of the series will be operated by Leica and a 50 MP front -line front camera with autofocus.
