Technically the new XC70 is positioned as the first “long-range” Volvo hybrid. In the front -wheel drive version, the power plant will develop 314 hp. And speed the car to 100 km/h in 8 seconds. A battery with a capacity of 21.2 kW · h provides a mileage to an electric protrusion up to 116 km in the WLTC cycle. A stronger version of the All -Wheel drive has a total of 456 HP, speeding up the road -5.3 seconds and equipped with a battery of 39.6 kW · h with a margin up to 180 km. At the same time, the total range with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine at 161 hp. exceeds 1200 km.

Passengers can use heated rear chairs, a multi-zone climate control with a separate display and a backlight system. The volume of the trunk is 408 liters, and has folded chairs in the rear – 1456 liters.
The crossover is based on the new SMA Modular platform and has received safe space technology with sensors, radars and environmental monitoring cameras. Among the driver’s assistance systems, a shift assistant, active navigation support and an automatic parking pilot were announced.
In China, a preliminary condemnation for the XC70 has already opened, prices will start about $ 62500. Volvo also plans to bring the model to the European market, but it has not yet reported the exact deadlines.
