BBB22: Psychologist analyzes Gustavo’s behavior after brother’s mother shows concern

Gustavo’s mother showed concern for her brother on ‘BBB22’

Every year during the exhibition of the Big Brother Brazil it is possible to observe several behavioral changes in the brothers. Experts point out that these changes occur due to confinement. A recently observed case is that of the Gustavowho has smoked numerous times on camera.

In a recent interview, the brother’s mother, Sandra Batista, said that outside of reality, he did not smoke so often. the psychologist Maria Rafart explained that cigarettes are often used as an anxiolytic, either because of their chemical composition or because of the welcoming ritual that the act of smoking provides.

“In a scenario of dispute and tension like a reality show, smoking can be a kind of place of comfort, a place that is recognized as being calm and good vibes. Familiarity with the act of smoking in moments of anxiety and tension can lead to the habit of smoking more intensively in hostile and competitive environments”, explained the expert.

The specialist brought as an example the athlete Paulo Andrewho does not smoke, however uses his bandana to protect himself from the smoke and frequents the house’s smoking area to socialize and feel welcomed.
