The head of Elsa’s ocean group Svyatoslav Vakarchuk reacts to the appointment of the State Award of the National Legend of Ukraine, awarded August 20 at Kyiv.
The musician emphasized that this award was not just about his personal accomplishments, but also about the team’s contribution and the support of the audience.
“This is the recognition of my colleagues’ talent, effort and work, which I have been walking on the shoulder for many years. It is a recognition of our team’s painful work, helping to create,” Wakarchuk wrote.
He also emphasized that modern music of Ukrainians is stronger in the world and is an important tool for the struggle for the country’s identity and future.
This year, the National Legend of Ukraine has been awarded the laureates by President Vladimir Zelensky and the first Lady Elena Zelenskaya. The awards were established in 2021, and year -to -year, it receives the remaining numbers of culture, science, sports, medicine and public life.
