The model is designed for a home theater in 4K format – even during the day, according to company information.
LG to the market will bring the smallest Ultra -short -Focus Laser Projector, New Atlas reports. The Cinebeam S model, first presented in CES 2025, is now available for an initial term in Europe and Canada, and in the USA has not officially introduced.
Despite its small size – 110 × 160 × 160 mm weighing 1.9 kg – this device can create an image with a diagonal up to 100 inches in 4K UHD format.

Thanks to the projection coefficient 0.25: 1, the device should be placed only 55 cm from the wall. At the same time, the focus of the focus and geometry of the picture is automatic, and eight color profiles are also provided for a wide variety of surfaces -for example, if we are projecting not on a white wall.
The projector uses a triple laser light source (separate laser for red, green and blue), though its brightness is limited by 500 ASSI lumens. This means that the best quality of the image is achieved in dark rooms, however, according to LG marketing materials, Cinebeam S works highly in sunlight – in particular, as an additional screen for video calls or online meetings.

The projector also works in daylight
The projector covers 154% of the DCI -P3 color space and provides a dynamic contrast 450,000: 1. It works on the WebOS platform and supports Netflix streaming services, Prime video, Disney+, and also has a built -in browser. For convenience, image delivery via AirPlay 2, screen sharing, HDMI with EARC and USB-C power is available. HDR10 formats, HLG and a special film manufacturer mode are supported, and a 4K content is that -scale in real time.
The sound is reproduced by two built -in dynamics with a capacity of 4 W, with support for Dolby atmos for volumetric sound. The projector does not have a built-in battery, but is equipped with a 65-watt power adapter with USB-C.
Prices are already known for some countries: in Europe, Cinebeam S is worth € 1299, and in the UK – £ 1,099 with predicted delivery in September.
