Salmonella, the lack of medical books for workers and violations of sanitary standards – the investigation continues the institution after the poisoning of 76 people.
In LVIV, an investigation of a large -scale outbreak of food poisoning, which occurred at the “Chinese Hello” restaurant, which belonged to Ukrainian restaurateur Misha Katsurin, continues.
It is known that 76 people were injured, among them – 10 children, 2 pregnant women and Katsurin themselves. In 25 patients and one employee, the institution announced salmonella enteritidis – the cause of the agent of serious intestinal infections. Four employees continue the laboratory research.
The first posts about poisoning appeared on July 16 – then 42 were infected. In a few days, this figure is almost double.
During the audit, state district service specialists discovered many violations of sanitary standards:

Confectionery, meat and vegetable equipment is washed together in the basement;

The washed inventory is stored without containers with lids;

In refrigerator, the neighborhood of the goods is damaged, and the bulk products are stored in the basement corridor;

The temperature of storeing of products is not fixed;

The harvesting equipment is stored without marking;
-
Only 7 out of 23 employees have medical books.
It is also known that chicken and eggs are safe, and hepatitis or other viruses are not found in water.
Misha Katsurin apologized to the guests publicly and said that the Chinese Hello restaurant on LVIV was temporarily closed until the investigation was completed. The institution takes treatment costs to all victims.
Earlier it was reported that according to the LVIV Regional Center for Control and Prevention of Diseases, laboratory studies confirmed salmonellosis in 45 restaurant guests, where an outbreak of poisoning occurred.
