The novelty of Indonesia’s debut, received a front -wheel drive and focused on a family audience.
Mitsubishi introduces Destinator’s new model – a three -row crossover created specifically for Southeast Asian markets. Despite the external resemblance to Pajero prototypes, freshness is a serial version of the DST concept last year and with front -wheel drive architecture based on the Xforce model.
The car is 4680 mm long and a 2815 mm wheelbase – more than outlander, which positively affects the interior. The salon is designed for seven passengers with a classic three -Row layout. The amount of trunk with folded rear chairs increases dramatically, making the car more comfortable for travel.
Outside, the Destinator has hardly changed compared to the concept: the aggressive grille of the radiator, LED-Fara and the embossed body are preserved. However, some details are simplified for serial production – in particular bumpers, lights and glass. The 18-inches alloy tire looks relatively modest for its dimensions, but the overall proportion is relatively successful.
The interior is equipped with a digital panel of 8-inches device and a 12.3-inch screen of a multimedia system. Among the equipment is the Yamaha audio system, a panoramic roof, a surrounding backlight and a complete set of driver aid systems.
Under the hood of the Mitsubishi Destinator, a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 161 hp is installed and a torque of 250 nm, which works in conjunction with the CVT variator. Although the car does not have a -Wheel drive, the clearance, the suspension adapted to uneven roads and five driving modes make it suitable for difficult regional road conditions.
The Destinator will be held at the Mitsubishi factory in Indonesia, but is still available not only in the countries of Southeast Asia, but also in South Asia, Latin America, in the Middle East and Africa.
Remember that it was previously reported that the updated Mitsubishi Grandis was shown.
