BMW has released a special SUV X7 Black-α series, which is available exclusively in the Japanese market, BMWBlog reports.
The X7 Black-α was created based on the updated X7. In total, 100 units will be released – of which 90 copies are diesel X7 XDrive40D with a capacity of 340 hp, and another 10 cars fuel M60I with a capacity of 530 hp. Both versions have all -wheel drives and are equipped with an automatic gearbox.
The car was painted in the matte shade of frozen black from the BMW individual catalog. A unique feature of the model is the branded railing of the iconic glow radiator with the backlight, which in the dark creates the effect of light aura around the car’s bow. The panoramic glass hatch of the sky lounge with a light -style style is also installed.
In the cabin – exclusive laser engraving in the central armrest and part of the passenger, made in collaboration with the famous Japanese workshop of the momentum factory ORII from the city of Takaoka, which specializes in the traditional method of processing copper products. The interior is also decorated with handmade woolen rugs made by Japanese company Kawashima Selkon. The end of the central console was made by the traditional Japanese method of applying varnish patterns with the addition of gold or silver called “Maki-E” the author of famous Japanese artist Hattori Izzai.
The Diesel version received a 22-inch jet black, while the M60I-23-inches tires in the same color. The mirrors and nameplates “M” of M60i have a glossy black finish.
The price of the BMW X7 Black-α in Japan starts from 16.22 million yen (approximately $ 112 thousand) per XDrive40d and reaches 21.4 million yen ($ 147 thousand) per M60i. The supply of the first cars will start next month.
Diesel X7 XDrive40d will be sold in Japan’s official dealerships, and 9 M60I policemen will only be ordered through a special website. The tenth M60I does not appear on sale. It will be given to the winner of the BMW Japan Golf Tour Championship Mori Building Cup Championship, which will be held on June 5-8 at the Shishido Hills Golf Club.
