Audi has expanded the line of new A6 models by introducing two plug-in hybrid version-the A6 Sedan E-Hybrid Quattro Sedan and the Avant E-Hybrid Quattro Station Wagon.
The design of the new models maintains Audi’s corporate style – an elongated hood, a long tire and a wide track. The sedan is distinguished by a profile with smooth windows, while the avant shows many sports features with an emphasis on sculptural back, a roof spoiler and aerodynamic elements.
The main change of new hybrids is the high -intensive battery of the new generation, with a capacity of 25.9 kWh, which is 45% more than the previous version and allowed cars to surpass more than 100 kilometers in pure electric traction.
The version has received a combination of a 2.0 TFSI gasoline engine with a capacity of 252 hp. and an electric motor with a maximum strength of 142 hp, which depends on the adjustment. At the strongest adjustment with a total capacity of 367 HP cars accelerated from an area to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds. In option with a capacity of 299 HP acceleration takes 6 seconds. The maximum speed for all versions is 250 km/h.
The high -voltage battery will now be charged from alternating currently with a capacity of up to 11 kW, giving you to fully charge the battery in just 2.5 hours. The recovery system has also improved – the level of slowing during braking can be adjusted to three levels using steering wheel switches. Thanks to the navigation system data, the car automatically operates the use of electricity on the route, even without active route.
The hybrid system moves automatically between electric and hybrid modes, which provides maximum efficiency. In MyBrid Mode, you can manually select the desired charge level, which should be saved for further use.
In Germany, the cost of the A6 Sedan E-Hybrid Quattro with the main version with a capacity of 229 hp. Starts from € 65800, and A6 avant – from € 68300.
Orders for new Hybrid A6 models will open on May 8, 2025, and the first delivery will be scheduled for the tag -day.
