The Coldplay Frontman supported Ukraine after a wave of criticism on social networks for a vague statement about Russia.
After the head of the Coldplay Group, Chris Martin at a South Korea concert, called his fan from Russia a “good brother” and announced a possible concert in the Russian Federation “if Putin allowed,” social networks exploded.
The anger was revealed by Ukrainian fans who saw the Singer’s statement neglecting the tragedy that their country was experiencing because of the Kremlin invasion.
Responding to the situation, at the next concert, Chris Martin openly turned to the Ukrainian audience from the stage:
“I want to deliver my friend Romario to Ukraine. We send them love and support. We do not believe that any person should get, oppressed, conquered or otherwise. Therefore, we send love to everyone, all civilians, and freedom. So, there is love from Korea.”
This is not the first gesture of support from the Coldplay frontman: since the beginning of an entire war in Ukraine, he repeatedly went on stage with a blue-yellow ribbon, showing unity among the people of Ukrainian during the European part of the group.
