The decision to end the production of XT6 is part of the brand strategy for a complete transition to electric traction.
General Motors announced the completion of the manufacture of a three -row fuel SUV Cadillac XT6 by the end of 2025, Reuters reported.
The model is made in the spring Hill Assembly in Tennessee, where the smaller Crossover of the XT5 is also made – doing so will last until the end of 2026.
Today the Spring Hill plant is one of GM’s major sites for moving to de -electric cars. It is there that the electric models of Cadillac Lyriq and Vistiq are already gathering. The decision to withdraw the XT6 from production is part of the brand strategy for the complete transition to electric traction and is not related to recent differential restrictions, the company emphasized.
Earlier last year, Cadillac also stopped the release of the XT4 fuel model. The company gradually reduces part of traditional ice cars, in exchange for actively expanding the power line.
