Microsoft’s founder decided to move to charity almost all of his conditions of over 101 billion dollars. Its three children will inherit less than 1%.
Billions -American and philanthropist Bill Gates admitted that his three children – Jennifer, Rory and Phoebe – would receive less than 1% of her current state, which, according to Forbes estimates, is more than $ 101 billion.
In a conversation with Indian podcast Raj Shamani, Microsoft founder explained why he refused to move most of the children’s wealth:
“My kids had a wonderful childhood and education, but they would receive less than 1% of my condition, because I decided it would not be a service for them. I didn’t want to create a dynasty. I didn’t ask to manage Microsoft.”
Gates believes that most of his circumstances should serve as others – through the Gates Foundation, which he established with his former -Wife Melinda in 2000. Today it is the world’s largest private organization in the world that is part of health protection, education and poverty resistance.
When asked if his children failed, Bill Gates replied:
“It is important that children do not doubt your support and love. Therefore, it is worth explaining from their philosophy from an early age: that you treat them both, that you will give them good opportunities, but most of the money will go with the help of those who need it,” the billionaire said.
Gates is convinced that his children understand and support his decision.
Earlier it was reported that Bill Gates admitted that divorce from the Melind Gates after 27 years of marriage was the biggest mistake for him in life.
