The winner of the Miss Scotland Competition 2022 Lucy Thomson was rescued by a fight in the rugby tournament.
Lucy Thomson, the winner of the Miss Scotland 2022 contest, was officially released by the title after the scandal, which took place in June 2023 at the Edinburgh City 7s Regbiral Tournament.
According to The Sun, Thomson attacked the guards of event-26-year-old Andrew Okpaja and 32-year-old Alasder Dulan. He was both male and allowed himself racist statements in Okpaj. Witnesses say the girl is intoxicating, acted aggressively and tried to use her status, shouting: “Do you know who I am?”
Okpaje guard said the situation was worse when Thomson began to fight, shouting threats and biting his hand. He also insulted him at the race level.
In the trial, the model justifies that he acts on the goal of self -defense, claiming that he is rugged with a grin when he tried to protect his brother. However, Judge Derek O’Kerroll called his evidence to “completely unexplained” and seek sin.
Thomson received a fine of 790 pounds. However, the highest consequence of his actions was the seizure of the title of Miss Scotland 2022. The competitioner’s organizations immediately made this decision after the scandal.
Earlier it was reported that the Miss South African beauty contest was at the center of the scandal after the government accused the mother of one of the finalists of fraud and theft of personal data.
