The samba school gained prominence at Anhembi by parading with games theme, with the plot “Roses of Gold in a great play”
The Rosas de Ouro Society won the title of Carnival Champion of São Paulo in 2025, a result that was announced in the late afternoon of Tuesday, 4, after the calculation held at the Anhembi Sambadrome.
The definition of the champion occurred in the last note, reflecting a fierce competition throughout the evaluated questions. Rosas de Ouro stood out in ensuring leadership in the final question, thus marking a triumphant return to the top, as this has been its first title since 2010 and the eighth in the city’s special group.
For this year’s Carnival, the association presented the plot “Golden Roses in a Great Play”, which explored the influence of games on history. The parade was carefully elaborated by the carnival Fábio Ricardo.
With a total of 269.8 points, Rosas de Golden has become champion, followed by Tatuapé Academics, who also got 269.8 points, and the Fiel Gavião, with 269.7 points. On the other hand, the academic schools of Tucuruvi and Green Spot were demoted.
New parade
The top five classified schools will be present at the champions parade, scheduled for next Saturday, 8. This event will be attended by the first two places of the Access Group 1, whose classification will also be defined on Tuesday, in addition to the Black Pearl and Shirt 12 Schools of the Access Group 2.
The champion’s team was based on the calculation of the notes provided by four judges in each of the nine questions evaluated. The schools were analyzed according to the following criteria: plot, drums, samba-plot, master-room and flag bearer, front commission, harmony, allegory, fantasy and evolution.
