On February 28, AMD introduced the new RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT graphics cards to the new RDNA 4 architecture.
The RX 9070 has 56 computing blocks on board, 16 GB GDDR6 memory, 2520 MHz frequency and can produce 1165 trillion of shi-operations per second. The manufacturer estimates the cost of the card from $ 549. According to AMD trials, a card on average 21% faster RX 7900 GRE at 4K and 20% faster 1440p.
The 9070 XT has 64 computing units, 16 GB GDDR6 memory, a frequency of 2970 MHz and produce 1557 trillion shi-operations per second. Cost – from $ 599. Card boasts at 42% of higher speeds compared to RX 7900 GRE at 4K and at 38% of a higher speed of 1440p.
AMD also compared the RX 9070 XT to a competitor from Nvidia – RTX 5070 TI. The new AMD card is only 2% slower, but at the same time cheaper of $ 150. AMD added that its partners will also sell a more – -oimed card with huge energy and more of a competitor by speed of 2%.
The cards will fall on the shelves of stores on March 6, and eventually, in the second quarter of the year, AMD has promised to show the more RX 9060 budget and RX 9060 XT.
