The event featured a charity dinner that highlighted the 100 best NGOs in the country, besides presenting social project focused on women
Last Tuesday, 4, Café Journal was the scene of a charity dinner promoted by the NGO Amor Philia, led by its founder Mariana Marques and the CEO Default Daniela. The event attracted the presence of 130 guests, in order to reinforce the organization’s initiatives, which stood out among the 100 best NGOs in Brazil in 2024.
The highlight of the night was the presentation of the project “Empower a Mother”, which aims to provide vocational training to women in situations of social vulnerability. The initiative includes courses, emotional support and income generation opportunities.
Mariana Marques He expressed his satisfaction to see the united community around such a relevant cause: “Seeing so many people united by the same purpose was transformative. Our goal is now to serve 400 mothers by the end of the year.”
Default Daniela He also shared his gratitude: “It was gratifying to show up the real impact of our projects; each partnership makes all the difference.”
The dinner was supported by Eagle Agency, founded by Brenda Maiaone of the most active collaborators of the NGO. Her presence at the event stressed the importance of collaboration between private and social sectors. Below are some guests, leaders of some of the largest technology companies in the country, such as Vivo, Oracle and Profile Brazil.

The NGO Amor Philia has ambitious plans to expand their programs and ensure financial sustainability, with the aim of multiplying opportunities for vulnerable mothers and families. This strategy aims to create an even more robust solidarity network.
