The director and his team filed a lawsuit against the actors, accusing them of libel, invasion of privacy and breach of contracts.

Hollywood director and actor Justin Baldoni filed a $400 million lawsuit against star husbands Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

According to People, the lawsuit was also signed by producer Jamie Hitt, publicist Jennifer Abel and crisis PR specialist Melissa Nathan.

Baldoni’s side accuses Lively of trying to control the film Leave It If You Love It, and also accuses her and Reynolds of libel, invasion of privacy and violation of integrity principles. The 179-page lawsuit detailed their allegations, and the director’s lawyer, Brian Friedman, said he had “a large amount of persuasive evidence.”

“This lawsuit is a lawsuit based on a tremendous amount of circumstantial evidence detailing Blake Lively and her team’s bipartisan effort to destroy Justin Baldoni, his team and their respective companies by disseminating grossly redacted, unsubstantiated data,” Friedman said.

Let’s remember that Lively has previously accused Baldoni of sexual harassment. She said the director repeatedly asked her to stop showing her “nude videos or pictures of women” and to stop airing her “porn addiction” and intimate conquests.

So far, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have not commented on the lawsuit filed.

It was previously reported that writer Neil Gaiman made a public statement on his blog addressing the new allegations of sexual assault.
