Justin Baldoni sues Blake Lively and Ryan Reynols in $400 million lawsuit

The actor and director sued the couple for different reasons and asks for a million-dollar sum; The film has already resulted in fights and past lawsuits

Justin Baldoni filed a lawsuit against Blake Lively, her love interest in the film “That’s How It Ends”, and against several people involved in her circle, including the actress’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, the press officer Leslie Sloane and Sloane’s public relations firm.

The director and actor is demanding US$400 million (approximately R$2.4 billion) over allegations of extortion, defamation, invasion of privacy and various other charges, including intentional and negligent interference with his contractual relationships and potential economic advantages.

According to The Daily Mail, Baldoni and his representatives allege that Blake orchestrated a series of false accusations of sexual harassment intended to destroy their careers. They still accuse the actress and Ryan to use their influence to take control of the film, with Blake reportedly not having read the book until filming was already underway.

Furthermore, Baldoni states that Blake banned him and his family from attending the film’s US premiere in August 2024, accusing security staff of treating them like prisoners, confining them to a makeshift area.
