Lady Gaga confirmed her performance on Copacabana Beach this year, in a grand event that promises to attract thousands of fans. The show, titled “Lady Gaga: Todo Mundo no Rio”, will take place on May 3rd, starting at 9pm, and will be one of the biggest in the singer’s career. The date and further details about the event were announced by Laura Jardimfrom the newspaper O Globo.
According to official information, the show will be free and will take place in an area of 28 thousand square meters, authorized by the City of Rio de Janeiro. The approval was signed by Bernardo Fellows, head of the city’s events area, and production will be in charge of Bonus Track, the same company responsible for bringing Madonna to Brazil last year.
Different installations
Although there are no fireworks planned, as occurred in the pop diva’s previous show, the production will install screens along the beach to ensure that everyone present can follow the performance. In addition, the event structure will feature chemical bathrooms spread throughout the area, providing more comfort to the public.
The presentation, which should last around two and a half hours, is expected to bring together approximately 1 million people on Rio’s waterfront. The artist promises an unforgettable show, further consolidating her connection with Brazilian fans.
