Guest performers include country star Carey Underwood, legendary disco group Village People and opera singer Christopher Macchio.
Carey Underwood will perform the song “America the Beautiful” accompanied by the Armed Forces and US Naval Academy Chorus.
“I love our country and I’m honored to be asked to sing at the inauguration and be a part of this historic event,” the singer said.
Disco band Village Peopleknown for his hit YMCA, will also perform at the inauguration. Band member Victor Willis emphasized that music should unite people regardless of political preference.
“We know some of you won’t like this, but we believe that music should be played without regard to politics. Our YMCA song is one that I hope will help unite our country after the turbulent campaign of division where our favorite candidate lost,” Willis said.
