Less than two years until the next elections, Gustavo Lima He opened up and spoke about his decision and desire to enter the political race.
With no political party involved, the countryman decided to make his own name available to the electorate, according to the statement to Metrópoles.
“Brazil needs alternatives. I’m tired of seeing people in need without being able to do much to help. I myself faced many difficulties in life, but I took advantage of the opportunities I received. I came from a very humble condition, I lost three teeth, but, of course, I was able to get treatment, a condition that many people don’t have”, explained the singer.
So far, the countryman has not confirmed any type of link with the former president of the Republic, Jair Bolsonaro (PL), even though it supported the candidate until the last round of 2022. “Enough of this right and left story. It’s not about that, it’s about making a gesture for the country, in the sense of putting my knowledge to benefit a project to unite the population”, he stated. Gustavo.

“I know a lot of people and, although I have never held any political position, I am an entrepreneur. I have set up many companies and I know how to make the wheels turn. We have to reduce bureaucracy for the country to function better”, declared the countryman.
The singer confirmed that he intends to start conversations from now on with political groups that are aligned with his plans to take on a party.
“The poor are without purchasing power, and the agribusiness sector can no longer bear paying taxes and not having improvements to invest in their own businesses. I think I can help, maybe I’ll change my mind by 2026, but today my willingness is very inclined to become a candidate for the Presidency of the Republic in 2026”, he concluded.
