Taisiya’s son Povaliy is trying to challenge the confiscation of the properties

In October 2024, the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine (HACC) decided to confiscate the personal property of singer Taisiya Povaliy, who openly supports the Kremlin regime. This decision angered his son, 41-year-old Denis Povaliy, who decided to sue the state.

However, the trial turned out to be more complicated than the man could have imagined. His lawyer, who agreed to help prepare the appeal, declined to represent the case in court.

On his Instagram, Denis wrote: “Today at 15:30 in Kyiv there is a review of our appeal against the confiscation of my family’s property, the lawyer, who, out of friendship, helped me draw it, is not willing to risk his reputation and represent the interests of the authorized person even though, according to him, “he is not one of the shy ones.” He estimated the chances of winning at 3%.

In addition, according to the singer’s son, the preparation of the appeal has already cost him more than a thousand euros. In search of funds, he is even willing to sell his rare items, including a piano and a billiard table.

“All in” is at stake and therefore I am ready to sell a rare piano and a billiard table to pay for the services of a “pit bull” ready to fight the system for “Nazi collaborators and collaborators,” added Povaliy.

Denis also turned to his subscribers with a request to support him and his mother: “For some reason, the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine itself is judging us, and in the process of talking to its representatives, I did not found an evidence of corruption committed by my family (especially, my mother, against who organized this exemplary political massacre I am grateful for any possible help).

It was previously reported that Taisiya’s son Povaliy openly opposed the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine (HACC) to confiscate his mother’s property in Kyiv.
