On the night of last Tuesday, the 3rd, the young singer Wenny, 15 years old, sister of the artist Lexa, became the center of attention during the Multishow Awards, held in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
The teenager stood out by wearing a sophisticated outfit with rococo influences, evoking the famous figure of Marie Antoinette, but reinterpreted with a contemporary and bold touch typical of the drag queen universe.
In an interview with Quem magazine, Wenny shared details about her costume choice, which included a stunning train adorned with 55 images of iconic music figures.
The costume was a tribute to renowned artists such as Aretha Franklin, Marisa Monte, Ludmilla, Beyoncé, Gal Costa and Amy Winehouse. Furthermore, it praised outstanding personalities such as RuPaul and Pablo Vittar, highlighting the diversity and influence of these figures in the current musical scene.

About your motivations, Wenny revealed: “The inspiration for this look came from a drag queen called Twinky Trash. I’ve been following the art of drag for as long as I can remember, because I saw [o reality de competição] Ru Paul’s Drag Race. My brother put it on, I watched it and loved it. And I thought: ‘My God, I want to dress like them!’”, reported the young artist.
Wenny also emphasized the symbolic meaning of her clothing: “Calm down, I’m only 15! Today I’m here to represent the LGBTQIAP+ community through my clothes, which are from a beautiful drag queen named Twink Trash. Thank you for allowing me to dream. A recreation of Pedro Agah and Ateliê Guilherme Alves”, he concluded.
