Tati Minerato’s statement
In light of the controversy, Tati Mineratosister of Ana Paulaalso spoke out, repudiating the former person’s attitudes. In an official press release, Tati highlighted his commitment to respect and equality, stating that he does not condone what happened.
Since I was a child, in my family, I was taught the importance of respecting others. My mother, Dona Sílvia, was a central figure in this process, always showing us the value of treating all people with equality and dignity. However, given what happened involving my sister, Ana Paula Minerato, I need to say that, as much as the love for my family is undeniable, I cannot and should not be associated with attitudes that are not in line with what I believe in. I deeply regret this episode and reiterate that I have never supported or will support any attitude that disrespects or attacks another person. My commitment will always be to building a future where respect, inclusion and equality are non-negotiable values. This is how I live and how I want to continue my journey, both in samba and in all spheres of my life. With affection and respect, Tati Minerato“.
The declaration of Tati reinforced the contrast between the sisters’ stances and sought to highlight the impact that the case had within the family itself.
The episode continues to generate discussions about racism and responsibility in public figures, especially in a context where discriminatory attitudes have amplified repercussions through social media.
