Prime Minister Boris Johnson asked the organizers to consider Ukraine’s proposals for the event.
The UK has asked the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) to host the Eurovision Song Contest in Ukraine. Boris said this in an interview with Zelensky, the website of the British Prime Minister’s report.
It is worth recalling that the EBU decided that for security reasons Ukraine could not host Eurovision 2023, so the organizers wanted to host the song contest in Britain, which took second place.
Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko said that Ukraine does not agree with this decision and seeks further negotiations.
Earlier it was reported that the Kalush Orchestra, along with Sergei Prytula’s Charitable Foundation, put up for a charity sale the pink panama of the band’s frontman Oleg Psyuk and the statuette of the winner of the competition.
MuesliUA dedicated a song to Boris Johnson.
