Loboda recounts how he saved his grandmother from Irpin, who was captured by the Russian military

Ukrainian singer Svetalana Loboda told an offensively personal story about rescuing her grandmother from Russian-occupied Irpin. The star shared his experience on Vesti.ua.

According to him, a woman diagnosed with diabetes was left alone in the apartment, under fire from the occupiers.

“We thought we wouldn’t be there on time, we cried and prayed. My grandmother had diabetes, and she had no insulin for two days, because no one helped. And it was hard to deliver the medicine at that time – there Stoning. However, we found a car that, through the fields, through the detours, reached my grandmother’s house. We had to break down the doors. That day, her apartment was still intact, but the one next door was already there. “under the fire. A day later, we rescued and released grandma Masha, and two days later, a shell hit her house,” Loboda said.
