Rapper Eminem called on Michiganders to vote for Kamala Harris at a rally in Detroit, where she was supported by Barack Obama.
Rapper Eminem spoke at a rally in Detroit, calling for support for the candidacy of Kamala Harris, on the eve of the US presidential election.
He appeared on stage with former President Barack Obama. Detroit is a special city for Eminem, so he noted the importance of voting in the region, noting that Harris supports the future of the country and the protection of fundamental freedoms.
“I am here today for several important reasons. Many of you know that the city of Detroit and the entire state of Michigan mean a lot to me, and with this election coming up with more attention than ever, believe i that it’s important to use my vote, so i encourage everyone to get out and vote, please i also believe that people shouldn’t be afraid to speak their mind, and i don’t think anyone wants to see America like this, where people fear that if they speak their mind, then they will face a reckoning I believe Vice President Harris supports the future of this country, where these and many other liberties will be protected and will support,” the rapper said to the voters.
After his speech, Obama unexpectedly quoted lines from the hit Lose Yourself, prompting a standing ovation.
