The Home Office issues Paddington Bear a British passport to travel to Peru, where the events of the third part of the popular film series unfold.
The UK Home Office has officially issued a passport to Paddington Bear, who was born in Peru. Rob Silva, co-producer of the third film about the famous bear cub, spoke about this in an interview with the Radio Times.
The document states that Paddington has British citizenship and his place of birth is Peru. The passport issued by the Ministry exists in only one copy.
“We wrote to the Home Office asking for a copy and they gave Paddington an official passport – only one of these exists. You wouldn’t think the Home Office had a sense of humour, but according to official records they are the only gave him the name Bear,” Silva shared.
In the new movie, the bear cub travels with the Brown family to his homeland, Peru, to visit his Aunt Lucy. There they will find new adventures and meet new friends in the stunning Amazon forests and mountain peaks.
