The Ukrainian actor told how health problems prevented him from going to the front, and shared his family’s dreams of taking a vacation after the victory.
The famous Ukrainian actor Sergei Kisil opened up in an interview for UNIAN, talking about his desire to defend his homeland at the front.
However, due to his health condition, he was not allowed to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the first days of a full-scale war, the artist and his family went to Khmelnytsky and applied to the military registration and enlistment office, but he was sent home. However, according to the new laws, he renewed his data and registered with the military.
“According to the new law, I have renewed my data, I am registered and even with a military profession, of course, a call can come from it,” Sergei emphasized, adding that he considered the defense of the country is the common responsibility of all citizens.
Additionally, the actor admitted that he and his family dream of taking a vacation at sea after the success. He tried to send his wife and children abroad, but they insisted on traveling together. “My wife said: “We’re just going to the sea with you.” Therefore, I am doing everything to bring success closer so that we can fulfill our common dream,” shared the actor.
It was previously reported that Maxim Devizorov, who joined the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, shared details of his service.
