The star of the TV series Two Sisters admitted that he does not plan to go to the front voluntarily, but has already completed courses in flying drones and is preparing for a possible conscription.
Ukrainian actor Vlad Nikityuk, known for the series Two sistersexplained why he did not volunteer for the front.
In an interview with Alina Dorotyuk, she said that she had completed military courses and was preparing for possible mobilization, but was not yet ready to voluntarily join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The actor admitted that in 2022 he actively helped the military and wounded Ukrainians, felt the unity of the people, but over time his faith in the imminent end of the war was shaken. He added that he was registered in the military, but did not want to give up the opportunity to continue his growing career for the past three years.
“I don’t want to be a volunteer. I didn’t understand what this will lead to in my life, if, for example, I understood from the beginning that this is a very unique story, that now, if we really come together everything, with the help of partners we are now We’ll finish it all Then, over time, the faith was shaken,” he noted.
Nikityuk also noted that, despite his reluctance to volunteer, he took drone control courses in the 3rd separate assault brigade and was ready for future challenges if the time came.
