Argentine police are investigating workers at the CasaSur Palermo hotel for possibly supplying drugs to Liam Payne before his tragic death.
Argentine police are investigating the possible involvement of two CasaSur Palermo hotel workers in the tragic death of former One Direction member Liam Payne on October 16.
According to the Daily Mail, the two men are suspected of supplying drugs to the musician in a soap box. One of them, who worked as a cleaner, was fired and interrogated.
The media published photos from Payne’s room, where a soap box containing white powder and a crystalline substance was found and sent for analysis. Police believe it may have been cocaine and crack.
A friend of the singer said Liam tried to stay away from drugs but was offered them when he arrived at the hotel. In addition, shortly before his death, Payne was under great stress due to legal problems with his ex-fiancee and the cancellation of his contract with the music label Universal Music.
According to sources, before his death, Liam acted erratically and destroyed his laptop after checking his email. Shortly thereafter, he was found dead in the courtyard of the hotel, where he had fallen from the balcony.
It was previously reported that the members of One Direction have publicly responded to the death of their colleague Liam Payne.
