Former One Direction member Liam Payne died in Buenos Aires after falling from a height. He is only 31 years old.
Liam Payne, former lead singer of the British band One Direction, has sadly passed away at the age of 31.
The singer died after falling from the third floor of the Casa Sur hotel in Buenos Aires, the BBC reported. Buenos Aires police said they initially received a report of an aggressive man who may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Not long after, Payne’s body was discovered in the hotel courtyard. He received non-life threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Liam Payne arrived in the capital of Argentina to attend the concert of his former One Direction colleague, Niall Horan. Argentine authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
