The third edition of BODY will take place in October and promises to bring together several artists in favor of self-acceptance; find out details and dates
On October 26th, PHD Rooftop, at the top of the Tomie Othake Institute, will bring together prominent Brazilian personalities in an event created by Ju Ferraz and Carol Veras; BODY (Body Open Define You), in its third edition, will host a series of debates and mentoring, promoting themes linked to self-acceptance and freedom of female bodies, with more than 10 hours of announced programming and aiming to surpass the thousand mark spectators in person.
Names from different areas will be on the conference’s lecture trail, including actresses Flávia Alessandra, Dandara Queiroz and Cleo Piresthe presenters Tati Machado, Cris Guterres and Isabella Fiorentino, the influencers Improta Lore, Thay OG and Stephanie Marques, besides the chef Carmen Virginia and the singer Assucenadistributed in conversations throughout BODY’s programming
In 2024, the event takes a step forward in structure, with two stages to offer a greater plurality of issues, called ‘BODY’ and ‘Body and Soul’. Among the themes are plural and sustainable fashion, ageism, menopause and entrepreneurship. A room will be available exclusively for mentoring, with invited social institutions.
Building a legacy
Ju Ferrazwho is also a partner and director of Holding Clube, which organizes BODY, is an active voice in the Body Positive movement and started the event in 2022, emphasizing that it brought together a team and speakers with “different perspectives and experiences” to build a legacy of impact. In the last edition, the event had 900 people and more than 40 speakers.
“BODY is a space that reinforces the importance of social education. We celebrate the freedom and strength of each female body, promoting transformation and positive impact for all women of this and future generations”, he concluded.
