The global actress from the soap opera ‘No Rancho Fundo’ suffered trauma during the flight this morning, the 30th, and shared the story on social media
Isis Brokenknown for her character Corina Costello, the actress was present on a flight that had to make an emergency landing in Salvador, in the early hours of this Monday, the 30th.
Scared on the plane
On Instagram, she reported the moment of despair after the plane, bound for Rio de Janeiro, had to land in another destination in a hurry. As one of the worst experiences of her life, she tells her followers what happened, as some passengers said: “Our plane had a system failure that was apparently connected to a crack in one of the aircraft’s wings.”
Furthermore, it fired:
“We had to make an emergency landing in Salvador, without knowing any information from the airline, just word of mouth, to top it off I suffered a transphobic act by one of the Azul attendants, who insisted on calling me by the wrong pronouns, even though me correcting him more than once.”
Transphobia on the plane
Unfortunately, the unpleasant situation didn’t stop there. The actress also took advantage of social media to make a complaint. She angrily explained that while all this was happening, she suffered an episode of transphobia for trying to get some information from the commissioners about the situation.
The company employee insisted on calling her “sir”, even though she repeated several times that her name was Iris, therefore “ma’am”.
She vents,
“I asked for his badge to know his name, he didn’t want to give me his name. They don’t say anything about what happened, we find out from things we saw in the middle of the flight. They say it’s a breakdown, a failure, but we don’t know.”
