On Saturday the 30th, Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma held their wedding ceremony in Sardinia, Italy.
They have been together since June 2022, and got engaged the following year, on Saint Valentine’s Day. They met through a mutual friend, so they started chatting via messages before the big meeting in person.
After the wedding, they are enjoying their vacation and their first destination was Italy. There they stayed at the luxury hotel Cala di Volpe.
Relationship with in-laws
After two years of relationship, the actress said in an interview with Today who finally met his in-laws, as his wife’s parents did not accept same-sex unions. Thus, it took a while for the meeting to take place. She explains that one of the factors was Ramona’s country of origin. Born in Latvia, it is not as favorable to LGBTQ+ people as it is in other countries.
“I just think some people need a little more time, and some people will never get to that. And that’s okay, and it’s their decision. There are still parts of the world that aren’t as accepting” — explained the actress.
The couple has a daughter, Royce Lilianalmost 2 years old, born via surrogacy. The actress knows that the birth of her daughter helped make her meeting with her in-laws more affectionate.
“I’m really excited to meet them because I know they’re very smart.”
