The long awaited miniseries “Senna”, which premieres on the Netflix streaming platform on November 29th this year, celebrates the 30th anniversary of the death of the legendary pilot Ayrton Senna. Widely recognized as one of the greatest names in Formula 1, Senna still maintains unmatched records in sports.
Recently released, the never-before-seen images feature Gabriel Leone characterized as Ayrton Sennawearing the iconic red jumpsuit and holding the famous green and yellow helmet. In addition, photos of other important figures in the pilot’s life, including his parents, friends and his biggest rival on the tracks,Alain Prost — played by Matt Mella — were also revealed.
Among the personalities portrayed in the series are prominent figures such as Nelson Piquet (played by Hugo Bonemer), Niki Lauda (Johannes Heinrichs), AdrianeGalisteu (Julia Foti), Laura Harrison (Kaya Scodelario), Milton GT da Silvaknown as Milton (Marco Ricca) and Alain Prost (Matt Mella).

Composed of six episodes, the miniseries addresses the trajectory of overcoming by AyrtonSenna, from the beginning of his career to the tragic accident during the San Marino Grand Prix in Imola, Italy. The title explores both real and fictional aspects of the driver’s personality and his personal relationships.
Under the direction of Vicente Amorim and Julia Rezende“Senna” is a production by Gullane with the support of Senna Brands — a company created by the driver’s family to manage the assets linked to the three-time champion and the iconic Senna and Senninha.
