Sean “Diddy” Combs, while incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center, refused to eat prison food for fear of being poisoned.
American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after being arrested, experiences extreme paranoia about prison food.
According to former Levin inmate Ashley Banfield, who cited a source inside the prison, the rapper had a serious fear of being poisoned.
Banfield speculated that Diddy’s fear may have been due to thoughts that someone might pay the guards or correctional officers to hurt him. “He has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him,” Banfield said, adding that prison food is often cold and tasteless.
Diddy is also known to have attended church and met with a nutritionist after his incarceration. He is regularly evaluated by a psychotherapist to prevent possible suicide attempts.
The rapper is being held in the same area as notorious crypto fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried, who was sentenced to 25 years in prison in 2023. This isolated zone is designed for high-profile prisoners or those who collaborate with authority.
It will be remembered that Sean Combs was accused of sex trafficking. The artist himself has pleaded not guilty to the charges filed against him.
It was previously reported that Sean Combs, better known as Puff Daddy, found himself at the center of a major scandal.
