Jamie Bennington has condemned the choice of Emily Armstrong to replace her father because of her connection to Scientology and her support for convicted Danny Masterson.
The son of late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, Jamie Bennington, has criticized his father’s former bandmates for choosing new vocalist Emily Armstrong. Variety reported it.
He called the replacement questionable because of his past involvement with Scientology and his support for convicted rapist Danny Masterson.
Jamie also believes the group chose the wrong time to introduce a new member, as September is Suicide Prevention Month and his father committed suicide in 2017. He accused Linkin Park of “erasing Chester’s legacy” in real time and betraying the trust of the fans.
On September 5, Linkin Park held their first concert since Armstrong and presented the new track The Emptiness Machine, which will be included on their future album Zero. The release is scheduled for November 15.

It was previously reported that Linkin Park released a previously unreleased song with vocals by Chester Bennington, who died in 2017.
