The artist admitted that he often receives criticism in the comments for allegedly “avoiding” the service.
Ukrainian showman and comedian Vladimir Zhoglo spoke candidly about the mobilization and criticism received through his activities.
He admitted that he is often the target of haters who accuse him of performing on stage and not serving in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Some commentators even advised him to “die in a trench.”
Despite constant criticism, Zhoglo calmly accepted such accusations, realizing that many Ukrainians have reason to blame those who did not serve because they lost loved ones in the war. However, the showman expressed his dissatisfaction with the actions of some celebrities who continue to apologize to the public.
“I believe that such comments are fair, because it is a human disease. Many have lost someone, from their family, from their loved ones. One of my best friends is now fighting in the assault brigade .I believe it’s a fair regret .People have a right, I can’t limit them And probably, many of them experience great pain, like me, when people see them, and they have fun angry at them The logical question arises: “Why is he there, and no one else?” Everything I say will be seen as a reason. We have cultural figures who allow themselves to say: “I am more effective here, it’s not who I am. so, I have to get treatment in Germany,” he noted in interview Lvіvich.
He added that he went to the military registration and enlistment office and updated his information, stressing that he has never shirked from service and is ready to defend the country when called upon.
It was previously reported that Alexander Lyubbozhenko, known under the stage name Kozak Siromakha, spoke about his plans to rejoin the army.
