Documentary reveals behind the scenes and testimonies of notable names from the iconic gay publication
The recording of the first testimonies from actors and directors linked to the magazine began this week, with everyone involved under strict confidentiality agreements.
AG Magazine, initially launched under the name Bananaloca, became an editorial success and a landmark for the LGBTQIA+ community in Brazil, standing out in a market dominated by nude women’s magazines.
Names such as Alexandre Frota, Mateus Carrieri, Latino, Vampeta, Túlio Maravilha, Tony Salles and Rodrigo Phavanello are among the interviewees who will recall their experiences with the magazine. The expectation is that the series will become one of Globoplay’s big bets for 2025.
