Salvador hosts unprecedented study on income generation for LGBTQIA+

The launch will take place at Casa Vale do Dendê and will feature the participation of renowned personalities

This Thursday, August 29, Salvador will host the launch of the unprecedented study “Economic Inclusion and Income Generation of the LGBTQIA+ Population in Brazil: Challenges, Initiatives and Financing”. The event, which celebrates Lesbian Visibility Day, will take place at Casa Vale do Dendê, at 5 pm.

The study aims to explore the challenges and opportunities for economic inclusion for the LGBT+ community in the country. Influential figures such as physician and activist Fred Nicácio, actors Carmo Dalla Vecchia and Nanda Costa, as well as businesswoman and singer Raquel Virgínia, will be present to discuss the topic.

The initiative seeks not only to map the difficulties faced by the queer population, but also to highlight initiatives and financing models that can foster income generation and economic inclusion for this group, strengthening the fight for equality and respect.
