Shiloh Jolie-Pitt filed to drop her Pitt surname three days after she turned 18.

Brad Pitt’s daughter, Shiloh Jolie, has officially abandoned her star father’s last name. The Daily Mail reported this.

The girl, who hired and paid for her own attorney when she filed to drop the Pitt name on her 18th birthday in May, filed to change her name from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie.

There was no formal hearing on the name change — the petition was granted Monday, according to official court documents.

Last month, Shiloh placed a newspaper ad for a name change, a standard step before a court approves a name change.

The announcement also mentioned that anyone opposing the petition will have to appear in court.

Earlier it was reported that Brad Pitt was upset that he could not talk to his son Pax, who is in the hospital after an electric bike accident.

Brad Pitt’s daughter has publicly confirmed her last name change for the first time
