Olinda opens registration for courses aimed at trans women and transvestites

30 places are available on the “Fabric Painting Craftswoman” and “Manicure and Pedicure” courses; classes take place in the evening.

The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pernambuco (IFPE), Olinda campus, has opened registration for training courses aimed at trans women and transvestites. The opportunities are free and include 30 places for each of the courses offered: “Fabric Painting Artisan” and “Manicure and Pedicure”.

To apply, candidates must be at least 16 years old and present all documents required in the selection process. Classes will be held in the evening, from Monday to Wednesday, at the IFPE campus in Olinda, located in the Jardim Atlântico neighborhood.

In addition to free training, selected students will receive support through the Student Assistance Program, which offers resources to facilitate their retention and performance during the course.

Registration is open until August 14th and must be completed exclusively through an online formmade available by the institute. The initiative aims to promote social inclusion and professional training for trans and transvestite women, contributing to their insertion in the job market and strengthening their economic autonomy.
