High jumper offered $250,000 after Paris 2024 incident

Anthony Ammirati, whose performance at the Olympics was compromised, is invited by an adult website

French pole vaulter Anthony Ammirati, who saw his Olympic dreams dashed at the Paris 2024 Olympics, has received an unusual offer after an incident during his participation. According to TMZ Sports, adult website CamSoda offered the athlete $250,000 for a 60-minute performance on its platform.

During the qualifying round for the Olympics on August 3, Ammirati suffered a mishap when his genitals touched the pole vault bar, causing him to fall and compromising his performance. The incident left the Frenchman in 15th place in the competition, ruling him out of the finals.

After the incident, CamSoda vice president Daryn Parker told the outlet that the company would be willing to compensate Ammirati for what she called her “below-the-belt talent.” The offer would be for a live performance without the heel bar, highlighting the incident that caused a stir among viewers.

The athlete has not yet commented publicly on the proposal.
