The singer did not name the amount of his pension. The actor admitted that he was just shy to talk about it.
People’s Artist of Ukraine Alla Kudlay spoke about the small size of her pension in an interview with Alina Dorotyuk.
The singer shared that his financial capabilities do not allow him to organize a big concert, especially at the Palace Ukraine, where the rent alone costs more than 800 thousand Hryvnia. He also said that the October Palace concert would be cheaper, but it was too expensive for his budget.
“To hold, for example, a concert at the Palace Ukraine, apparently, I can’t say exactly how much is needed there, but you have to pay 800-odd thousand for the rent alone. With my pension… I’m ashamed to tell you about it. I have a very long work history and such a pension that I am just ashamed to tell you… Therefore, at the moment, because there is not enough money, I do not hold such concerts. Even at the October Palace. There is, of course, 180 thousand missing,” she said.
The singer confirmed that he lives only on pension and has no other income.
“I live on a pension, I will not tell you the size of the pension, I am ashamed to say,” the singer.
It was previously reported that Madonna’s son, David Banda, spoke about his modest life in New York.
